Reconnect with your Body to Relieve Pain & Heal

Yoga Therapy and Somatic Movement & Bodywork (also known as SomaYoga Therapy) teaches you how to develop presence and a deepened awareness of your body. SomaYoga teaches you how to reset & regulate your nervous system, restore posture, expand your breath, and learn functional, fluid & free movement patterns. The result is greater freedom in how you move, greater freedom in how you feel, and greater freedom in your life.     


SomaYoga Therapy has helped many people learn how to reconnect with their bodies to relieve stress, pain, trauma, & regain optimal movement patterns. SomaYoga Therapy can help:

You will:

  • Learn Somatic Movement so you can "sense and feel" your patterns of restriction that cause pain. Listening to the messages of your body empowers you to take the steps to reset before larger issues arise.
  • Restore posture & rediscover your pain free range of motion and functional movement patterns.
  • Receive support for optimal Diaphragm function for better breathing to promote relaxation; which can result in an immediate reduction in pain, tension, and stress.  
  • Receive a home maintenance program to continue to relieve stress and regulate your nervous system to support you in staying connected to your body. 


One-on-one program is individualized for you based on your specific patterns and personal goals. A minimum of 6-10 sessions and dedication to your home maintenance program is suggested for optimal results.  New clients please schedule free 15 minute phone consultation.

Hi, I’m Wendy Athina Schottle. My purpose is to support and nurture people through trauma, loss, transitions, and the unpredictable phases of life. Transforming pain into peace, hope, meaning, and purpose. Having lived with chronic pain, trauma, and loss, I know firsthand the value of what I teach and that we all have the innate ability to heal when we reconnect with our body and reclaim our mind body soul connection.

I offer individual sessions and specialty classes for pain/trauma resolution, transformation, & embodied living.
